Thank goodness it's Friday! It's hard to believe we're already heading into the weekend; it feels like it was just yesterday that I was birthday'ing and ringing in my first Mother's Day. (Happy belated Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!). I was showing Mike the site last night and you'd be amazed at how quickly he called me out for still listing my age as 33 on the 'About' page. Rats.
Looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend here! We've decided we want to visit a different brewery every weekend, weather and Harlow willing of course. So far we've been to Sierra Nevada for their Back Porch Sunday event (above photo), Highland Brewery for live music, and downtown to LAB. Highly recommend scoring a window seat for some grade-A people watching. Not sure where we're headed this weekend. New Belgium just opened their tasting room so they're a definite contender. I'm also eager to try out Catawba Brewery (viva la South Slope!) and Green Man.
In the meantime, here a few things for a little leisurely perusal while you weekend...
Guess ABC agreed that all the characters needed to be put out of their misery by cancelling Nashville. A lot of loose ends to tie up in two episodes...
Loeffler Randall's spring sale just started and I'm at major risk of spending all my birthday moolah on nothing but shoes. These espadrilles and these platforms are in the race, and I may have to buy these again because they've been my go-to since last summer.
Looking for a new book to read now that Harlow is sleeping on a schedule, and this juicy read on 1950s Texas socialites sounds exactly like the perfect dripping-with-drama page turner.
Zara keeps giving the gift of designer-inspired duds with these Gucci-esque metallic sandals in silver and gold.
What's better than sipping a cocktail outside on a warm spring evening? Ready to give this cucumber jalapeño margarita a whirl.
Speaking of al fresco dining, World Market has some really fun, affordable bistro tables and chairs for adding a little color to your outdoor space.
