F-R-I-D-A-Y!!! I'm breaking out the pompoms y'all, I'm soooo ready for the weekend! It's been...a week. We'll leave it at that. Now I can leave all that behind and focus on our trip to the beach! I'm ready to L-O-U-N-G-E!
Just curious, did anyone get my LL Cool J reference in the post title?? ;D
This week's Frugal Friday post is all about comfy clothes that look street appropriate. Basically anything that feels like pajamas but you wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen wearing in public (well...maybe not the nightshirt). Y'all really liked the joggers outfit I posted last week so I wanted to expand on more options for cozy-chic outfit ideas! These pieces feel and look great, and can be worn with jeans, leggings, yoga pants (we all know we do it), and joggers if you wanna double down on the loungin' vibes.
A very, very sweet friend told me the other day that as she was getting dressed while simultaneously keeping an eye on her three children under the age of six, she went to put on activewear and thought instead 'what would Brooke wear?' A) Thank you for sharing that with me, friend, it made my day!!!, B) a lot of times I put on activewear, too, and just style it with a cute tee, jacket, or shoes, and C) the pieces in this post are exactly what I buy so I can find something stylish that doesn't feel like "too much" to put on when I'm bleary eyed or in a hurry.
Hope you like today's edit and that you're looking forward to a fun-filled weekend! I can't wait to get to the beach with Harlow and see what she thinks now that she's older...and obsessed with Moana :) I still can't get over how real the ocean looks in that movie!
