Fall Style: Corduroy Skirt Two Ways
Look up "quintessential fall clothing" and a corduroy skirt will pop up immediately, cross referenced with boots and other fall-ish accessories (see: scarf; wool fedora). Especially the ones that come in this honey brown color. Some may call it golden pecan, or spiced walnut, or maybe just plain ol' rust. Doesn't matter what you call it, only how you wear it!
First of all, I love a corduroy skirt that sits higher on the waist so it stays defined. Lengthwise the hem should fall in the mid-thigh range; not too short that your skivvies might show but not so long that it looks out of proportion. It'll enable you to wear a wider variety of sweaters, tops, blouses, and boots. Trust me.
There are so many awesome ways to style a corduroy skirt! With a sweater and boots. A button-down and sneakers. Maybe a plaid blouse and over-the-knee boots balanced by a boyfriend cardigan. Wear it however it makes you shine! Some other corduroy skirts I love HERE, HERE, and HERE -- keep scrolling for ideas on how to style it!
SKIRT (Versona, sold out), also love THIS, THIS, and THIS one // SWEATER (Loft last season), this year's HERE and HERE // JACKET (old Old Navy, similar HERE) // HAT // BOOTS // CHAMBRAY BLOUSE (old Gap, similar HERE) // LEOPARD SNEAKERS
