The Every Girl Comfiest Dress Ever
Sometimes you find a dress that feels too good to be true. It somehow does all the things and you look good while doing them (which is really the point, no?). Ladies, I give you the ruched tank dress. The fitted (though flattering) stretchy dress that goes everywhere on every body, all summer long and into fall.
Check this out. The ruching around the waist conceals any tummy issues you may feel uncomfortable with...that, or a post-burrito belly that just won't quit. The high neckline balances the shorter hem and fitted silhouette. It's a day dress. It's a date dress. I styled it for both just so you can see how much use you can get out of this simple, cheap summer dress.

And mamas lend me your ear because this stretchy number is the best maternity dress ever! It just glides right over your bump, plus you feel pretty sexy in it. I always loved that feeling when I was carrying Harlow. (Word to the wise: late third trimester bumps may require so much fabric that hem draws up a little too high for comfort. That being said, lots of months in the middle that would be prime cute bump dress time!)
I got this dress from Amazon for $20 and it comes in several colors. The most popular dress in this style, though, is from Nordstrom for just $56, and it also comes in lots of colors. I've linked them both below so you can see both options. All things considered they're both great prices for a versatile dress. And you really just need one in a great neutral. Okay you could make the case for a second one in a fun seasonal color but that's where I draw the line ;D

We all own pieces that can be dressed up or down but this dress takes the cake for how simple it is! Really just a difference in shoes and any other accessories or layers you care to wear.
Styling tip: Since the dress is a tad sexy I think the more restrained in styling it the better! Choose casual pieces like a denim jacket or straw bag to dress it down for daytime. A simple clutch and strappy heeled sandals (note: not cage bootie heels) will do for date night.
