Best Rooftop Bars in Asheville

Local fashion blogger looks over downtown Asheville's south slope from the Antidote bar rooftop as her duster from Nest Boutique blows in the breeze.

Rooftop season in Asheville lasts three seasons out of the year; one of the best perks of living in a temperate southern climate! From the best local rooftops you can watch our famous leaves bud, bloom, and burst into color practically year-round. You can enjoy preserved 1920s architectural details of the Art Noveau, Beaux-Arts and Deco periods that are hard to see from street level. And, last but not least, you can soak up all the Blue Ridge mountain views with a hand-crafted cocktail or craft beer in hand!

Most of our best rooftop bars are located in downtown hotels, with a couple more standouts at the Grove Park Inn. If you've never been to Grove Park, put it on your travel itinerary ASAP! It's full of history, has some of the best mountain views in the city, and is really kid friendly.

These are my five favorite rooftop bars and restaurants in Asheville!
