Three Ways To Wear A Camisole
When the word "camisole" comes to mind you're probably not going to immediately think "oooh, YAAAASSS, cute!" If you're like me you might think of your mom forcing you to layer up on a cold day. Or maybe the brand Cuddl Duds. The stylish moxy of that one is as absent as the 'E' in their brand name.
Yet, once again, fashion surprises us and camisoles are better than ever this season! Why? Well let's be real: they're more pretty and delicate than sturdy and warm. And make no mistake: these beauts are made to be seen! These camisoles are meant to daintily peek out from under your fall sweaters and jackets.
I'll show you three different ways I recently styled the same white silk camisole for fall!
1 | ...With A Wrap Sweater
The lace trim peeks out just beyond the neckline of this faux wrap sweater. Is it necessary? Not really. Does it add the coveted 'third piece' extra interest to this otherwise basic outfit? Um, totally! Wrap sweaters are notorious for gapping at the neckline putting you at risk for exposure. A pretty camisole eliminates that risk without adding another bulky layer.

2 | ...With A BOYFRIEND BLAZER
Another no-fail style tip: mix feminine pieces (AKA the camisole) with more masculine items (the blazer and jeans) for an outfit with impact. I layered on delicate metallic and pearl necklaces to soften it even more, then threw on the Vans to keep it casual.
If borrowed-from-the-boys attire isn't your style, choose a more fitted blazer to wear with your camisole. Worn buttoned with trousers or a pencil skirt, you're ready for a day at the office! With jeans and riding boots, you're ready for the weekend.

3 | ...With A LONG CARDIGAN
This look works due to the the art of the mix yet again. This time it's the delicate camisole worn underneath the bulkier sweater. Think about it: your eye registers the sizable grandpa cardigan and balances it with the feather-light feminine camisole. Tucking in the camisole keeps the waist defined, while the length of the cardigan camouflages any problem areas. Try this look with any of your chunky cardigans!
